Oslo → Bergen: Aurland, Flåm & Nærøyfjord

A favourite alternative to the Hardanger route, picked by travellers who want the biggest scenery. Cross the Valdres valley and Filefjell to Lærdal, then climb the Aurlandsfjellet 'Snow Road' to the Stegastein platform hanging over the fjord. Drop to Flåm, follow the narrow Nærøydalen to the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord at Gudvangen, then over to Voss and down to Bergen. Spectacular and varied; best with one overnight around Aurland or Flåm.
