The outer road around Senja packs fjords, jagged 'Devil's Teeth' summits and tucked-away fishing villages into one coastline often called 'Norway in miniature'. Architect-designed stops at Tungeneset and Bergsbotn give you platforms out over the surf and the peaks, while villages like Husøy sit on islets barely bigger than themselves. Quieter than Lofoten and increasingly its rival.
