Crossing the uplands beside Rondane National Park, this route moves through pine forest and reindeer-grazed moor with the rounded grey Rondane peaks on the horizon. At Atnsjøen stands Sohlbergplassen, a viewpoint laid out among the trees to recreate the scene of Harald Sohlberg's iconic 'Winter Night in the Mountains'. The drive is quiet, big and contemplative.
