The classic climb out of Geiranger zig-zags up the mountainside in eleven hairpins to Ørnesvingen, the 'Eagle Bend', with a clean view down the UNESCO fjord to the Seven Sisters waterfall. It's part of the Geiranger to Trollstigen corridor and a reliable fallback drive whenever the Trollstigen side is closed for snow or rockfall.
