A tight, boulder-strewn valley squeezed between the Sunnmøre Alps, running from Hellesylt over to Øye on the Hjørundfjord. It passes the eerie Lygnstøylvatnet, a lake you can see the remains of an old road and farm beneath and the historic Hotel Union Øye. Steep, narrow and quiet.
