Lofoten

The E10 threads the length of the Lofoten archipelago, hopping between islands on bridges and causeways beneath some of the most dramatic peaks in Europe. Fishing villages like Reine, Hamnøy and Henningsvær cling to the shore and white-sand beaches at Haukland and Uttakleiv sit improbably beneath the mountains. Open year-round, it is as compelling under the northern lights as under the midnight sun.
