Helgeland Coast, South

The southern section runs from the Brønnøysund area northward through a maze of islands and sounds, linked again by ferries and graceful bridges. Its emblem is Torghatten, a mountain pierced clean through by a natural tunnel you can walk. Low, weather-polished islands and red-painted fishing houses define the seascape all the way north toward Nesna.
