Gaularfjellet

Following the Gaular watercourse, a protected river strung with waterfalls and pools, the route climbs through hairpins to a high plateau dotted with lakes. Near the top, the Utsikten viewpoint cantilevers out toward the Sognefjord branches below, a sharp concrete wedge that frames the drop. Walking paths link cascade after cascade along the valley floor.
