A remote, narrow mountain road that crosses from the Eikesdalen valley over a high lake plateau to Sunndalen, passing the towering Mardalsfossen, among the highest waterfalls in Northern Europe. Mostly gravel, with a manual toll, it rewards slow driving with raw, empty scenery far from the crowds.
