The quickest taste of big Norwegian scenery from Oslo. Drive up to Krokkleiva and walk fifteen minutes to Kongens Utsikt, a rocky balcony over the Tyrifjord and Steinsfjord that has impressed visitors since the 1700s. Loop back through Hole and Hønefoss, or add the Ringerike farmland and a café in Hønefoss. Doable in half a day.
